Earlier this week we attended dinner hosted by Rosemary Jakarta (thank you for having us at the event Rosemary in collaboration with Nibble apps) The place is indeed cozy and fancy.  This Place is perfect for hanging out, gathering, formal meeting and for you who seek something different from usual Jakarta restaurant. Let us take you around..


When you walk in, your eyes will immediately point to the bar


 then let's turn right

 We think this table is perfect for gathering with friends or a formal meeting. Now let's move to the left, they have a very cozy place, wait until you see it 

We think this spot is cozy enough to relieve some tension after work


 They also have a high table for two, perfect for a date night, isn't it?


 Because it's not Jakarta if you move smoothly and arrive on time, don't worry they have some books to accompany you while you're waiting for your ehmm maybe crush EH?


 Still haven't moved from this section, this spot is so instagenic, you should ask someone to help you take some pics here. Let's move a bit closer to the back

 Enough talking about rosemary interior, we should discuss about the food. Officially open for public on June 14th, but before you go let us show you what they have. Inspired by British cuisine, Rosemary offers European style dishes. I can't guarantee you that your menu will be the same with what we had yesterday, because the owner said that they'll be changing the one or two menu each day.

Let's start from appetizers, you can choose

The salty taste from the fried brie mixing with the sour taste of the cranberry sauce make the delightful taste explode in your mouth that will satisfy your appetite in every bite.

Salmon Tartare - 70.000 IDR
This Salmon Tartare is perfect for a light bite just before moving on to the main course.

Boiled egg wrapped with a seasoned meat, serves with asparagus and curry mayonnaise. Bonus a runny yolk. This one is her personal favorite for appetizer!

Triple cooked chips serves with pickles and tartar sauce. For him the tartar sauce is too sour.

Steak & Egg - 165.000 IDR
Beef tenderloin medium well done steak is tender and soft, Sunny side up runny yolk made it even better. 

Pumpkin Risotto - 110.000 IDR

To be honest the risotto is quite plain but if you eat it with pan seared duck they blend perfectly.

To Finish:

Psstt.. you will find something hard to cut but it melt once it touches your tongue. This dessert will boost up your mood and bring a smile to your face.

Banoffee Pie - 40.000 IDR
Banoffee Pie
Banana, Caramel, Coffee... those are the flavor you will taste if dig deep enough till the bottom of the cup. This light flavored dessert will really be your best choice of dessert as your closing meal.

AFTERNOON SOIRÉE BAKERZIN X VALRHONA

We were invited to the Afternoon Soiree a launching of enchanting sweet and pleasures [read more to find out ;)] event last Friday, along with other bloggers and media. We’ll give you some highlight from the event, but before we went further let give you a bit background of Valrhona and Bakerzin. Valrhona is a premium chocolate manufactured in the small town of Tain-l’Hemitage, It was founded by Alberic Guironnet, a French pastry chef in 1922. Valrhona is one of the leading producers for dark chocolate and their products are widely used in Michelin Restaurants. PEOPLE'S CAFE x DJOURNAL COFFEE - WORLD TRADE CENTER

Last Saturday we attended the Grand Opening of The People’s Café & Djournal Coffee, this is their first outlet that open outside the mall and it’s also the first outlet collaboration between both of them. This outlet is located in World Trade Centre. If you sit in TPC you can order a drink from Djournal Coffee, and the other way round. They are under the same holding company which is ISMAYA.  Thank you for the hospitality The People’s Café & Djournal Coffee!
